The lower left of Peñarol, debuted in the Primera Division with Peñarol in 1993 and participated in most of the second half of the team. In January 2001 he arrived in Europe, more precisely to Inter Milan where he could not stand and was assigned first to Espanyol de Barcelona (January 2002), after his former club Peñarol in January 2003 and then in the summer 2003, Albacete, where he earned a little more continuity. In the club managed to become the most outstanding player during the 2003-04 and 2004-05 seasons, becoming an idol to his fans, who always kept fond memories of their stay in the city of Albacete for the quality, capacity scoring and especially for his great character and professionalism.
